Customer Highlights

Alvin Canaday is a happy man, and a busy one too. His new Ford Explorer Sport is the fourth vehicle he’s purchased from LJF, and he’s looking forward to all of the family adventures he’ll get to take in his new ride. Two of Canaday’s boys are in college at Texas State.Alvin proudly wears one of his son’s football championship ring. Customer Highlights: Marcy Stellfox

Here at Leif Johnson Ford, our customers are built just as tough as our Fords. This week we had the honor of chatting with the lovely and big-hearted Mary Stellfox. She’s a self proclaimed hippie cowgirl with a passion for life, horses and her new F-150, Emma Jane. (Obviously her F-150 is a lady because, as Marcy puts it, she’s “Strong on the outside, beautiful on the inside.”) Read on to learn a little more about Marcy and the total rock-star that she is! I’ve been a supporter, foster parent and volunteer for Heart of Texas Lab Rescue for several years. My dear friend, Margaret, President of HOTLR, suffered a terrible accident with a horse. After 3+ years of recovery, she was ready to get back in the saddle but wanted to start back at the basics. She needed a partner in crime, I agreed to join her and have never …

Employee Highlights: Ajay Malani

Salesmen Ajay is an employee of our Riata Ford location and a resident of Austin, though this isn’t quite his hometown. Ajay was not only born, but also raised in India–Not exactly a neighbor to Texas or our Leif Johnson Ford dealerships. Still, he made his way to Austin with his family when he was fourteen years old and has loved it enough to never move anywhere else since. He also loves his job; More than half of his time spent in Austin has also been spent with us at Riata! Ajay has been with us at Riata Ford for nearly six years, and states that his favorite part about working with us are all of his customers. The feelings are definitely reciprocated, as Ajay is a favorite to many of the Ford-buyers who walk through our doors. Whenever he gets the chance, he does make visits back to India, and tells us he misses the cooking and the people when back in Texas. But he loves the Austin life too, and spends his spare time playing …

Customers as Family

Truck City Salesman Eddie will be the first to tell you that his customers are not just his customers. They are both his friends and his family, and he treats them as such. Today, as I sit a couple of cubicles away, I hear Eddie chatting happily with one of his longtime customers. But instead of talking about truck prices or car sales, he is talking with these customers about the health benefits of kale. This is not at all out of the ordinary for Mr. Haddad. Whether sharing football scores or his favorite foods, Eddie cares more about cultivating relationships with his customers than the sales he is making. Perhaps this is why he is consistently one of the highest ranked salesman at Leif Johnson Ford. Ronald Ramirez, a customer of Eddie’s since 2007, says he visits not only to update his vehicles, but also just to talk with his buddy Eddie. This is rather apparent by the laughter and long conversation I hear coming from Eddie’s side of the dealership.  “I’m like family now.” Ronald …

Today we talked to employee Peter to find out what he thought about working at Leif Johnson Ford! Read on to see what he had to say. Name – Peter Gott How long have you been working at Leif Johnson? – Since May 2012. A year and four months! What do you do at Leif? – I’m a Sync Technologist; In-Car IT support. We also do customer service, call backs, make sure they’re having a good experience with their cars. We maintain people’s accounts and make sure features are active. We organize and maintain manuals and keys and the check out system. So you’re a jack of all trades? – Yeah! What do you think sets Leif Johnson apart from other car dealerships? – We’re great to customers. We’re the only dealership with a whole sync team in the area; We go out of our way for our customers. What’s your favorite thing about working at Leif Johnson? – Helping people, without a shred of a doubt. I get to meet so many different people. It’s awesome. …
