Keeping up with the latest gadgets and gizmos can be tough. That’s where Leif Johnson Ford’s Sync Team comes in to make life just a little bit easier. Today we got together with some of our handy-dandy Sync guys to ask for a few tips. They let us in on a few “Don’t do’s” that will help your phone and your Ford become fast friends in no time. Here’s what they had to tell us:

1. Don’t USB connect your iPhone to your Ford. (It can cause problems with voice command)
2. No Emojis in your contact list. (They’re so fun, we know. But they’ll lock the system up as it cannot recognize these adorable little faces.)
3. Don’t answer and receive phone calls on the phone, use hands free. It’s set up to be a hands-free systems, after all.
